How to install our U-lock!
Step 1: Choose the mounting location:
Decide where on your bike you want to mount the U-lock bracket. Typically, the most common locations are the seat post, the top tube, or the down tube. Choose a spot that is easily accessible but also doesn't interfere with your riding.
Step 2: Attach the bracket to the bike:
Once you have decided on the location, use the provided screws and a screwdriver to attach the bracket to the bike frame. Make sure the bracket is securely attached and tightened so it doesn't move or slide around while you're riding.
Step 3: Test the fit
Before you put your U-lock into the bracket, test the fit to ensure it will hold your lock securely. Insert the U-lock into the bracket and check to see if it fits snugly. If the fit is too loose or too tight, adjust the bracket as necessary.
Step 4: Secure the U-lock in the bracket
Once you have ensured a good fit, place the U-lock into the bracket and make sure it is secure. You may want to give it a little shake or tug to ensure it won't fall out while you're riding. Congratulations, your U-lock bracket is now installed!
